Ashley M., M.A., M.S., CCC-SLP

I am in my 6th year as a speech-language pathologist and have an M.A. in Education from the University of Iowa and an M.S. in Communication Disorders from East Tennessee State University. A few of my areas of specialty include bilingual therapy, pragmatic language and social skills, and articulation/phonology. My husband and I live on a mountain outside of Chattanooga, TN with our three rescue dogs: Randall, Coco, and Abbieroo. Abbie was born without her two front legs and uses a wheelchair for mobility; she’s training to be a therapy dog!
I approached Angie when I saw that their clinic was providing teletherapy to help families stay safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, and I have transitioned into a full-time, permanent teletherapy position as the company looks to expand services to additional states. Mark Their Words is a close-knit team of therapists, and we love the families and children we work with. We will always go above and beyond to ensure that each child receives exceptional services! I am excited about the ability to provide services remotely for families who prefer to be in the comfort of their own homes, and it has allowed me to get creative with my sessions (aka: a green screen, puppet shows, and virtual games!). The majority of my kids have made outstanding gains via teletherapy, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for remote speech therapy!
