I grew up in Nashville, TN and attended The University of Tennessee for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I began working at MTW in 2013 as a new graduate completing my Clinical Fellowship Year under the guidance of Angie Terrado. In April 2020, I returned to MTW and accepted the new role of Vice President of Clinical Operations. During my time at MTW, I have completed training in S.O.S Approach to Feeding Therapy, PROMPT training, and TOTs training. My biggest passion is assessing and treating children with tethered oral tissue from birth to teens. I am currently finishing up my coursework to become a Certified Lactation Counselor and cannot wait to bring this new service to MTW this summer! My passion for tethered oral tissue and lactation issues came from my own personal difficulties with my youngest children who were both born with severe cheek, tongue, and lip ties. It is my mission to make sure that new mothers are able to have their infants assessed early and receive assistance with breastfeeding issues. I married my husband Austin in 2015 and we have two children, Hank and Henley, as well as my bonus daughter Emma. When I am not at work I enjoy reading, traveling, and getting involved with our church ministries.
